Kirsty Henshaw from Dragons' Den

Have you ever watched Dragons' Den? It is a showed giving the chance to some ordinary people to get investors on their side in return to a share in their companies.
The condition is to have good ideas, tailored business plans, accurate calculations of risks & finances and surely, to have prepared an extensive research.

My inspiration for this post is Kristy Henshaw. A single mum with a son who suffers from a milk allergy, she realized that the market lacks of product suitable for her child. Coming from a family which embraces healthy lifestyle, she decided to create her own brand of healthy desserts. Her speech in the Dragons' Den show was very impressive. Not only did she show a great awareness of the contents of her products (low-fat, low-calorie
free from sugar, milk, eggs, sugar extracted from fruits etc) and accuracy of her finances, but she also proved that she made all the investments, the hard work, everything with little support, a child on her own and having to work at two jobs at the same time. Amazing girl! I wish her all the best

P.S. I tried one of her frozen desserts - Freedom (vanilla), tastes incredibly and it is really healthy indeed.

Her appearance starts 3:45
